Beavis and Butthead Do U

Game Review - by StormDaemon
Since the arrival of Beavis and Butt-head Do U., college life has not been the same, it's been much worse. Everyone's favorite buttmunches explore what its like to be in college and try unendingly to score with college chicks. You'll guide them through different buildings as they try to complete objectives in order to get a pass to a party. Along the way, you'll interact with characters from the t.v. show as well as some hot college chicks!

Features:
Do U. offers interaction with many other characters and several puzzles which have to be solved in order to get Beavis and Butt-Head to the party. Not only are there a lot of puzzles, but even just getting through the college requires the duo to talk to certain people or do certain things. The game also boasts graphics, sounds, and voices straight from the creators of the t.v. show which make you feel like you're right in an episode.

Gameplay:
The gameplay is decent because of the graphics and the sounds, but the slowness of progress kind of makes it boring after a while. The puzzles that have to be accomplished are not too complicated, and unless you are really into Beavis and Butt-Head, you'll get bored after a while. The only thing that kept me playing was seeing what they were going to do or say next, which is a major part of the game. Even if it is boring at times, the game makes you feel just like you are in another episode because of the un-intrusive environment manipulation tools. If you place the pointer over something, you can talk, manipulate, or look at it, allowing for several different choices to make on what to do.

Graphics:
Mike Judge created the graphics, and as is expected, just like the t.v. show. The backgrounds and the cartoon characters blend incredibly well, allowing for an almost t.v.-like experience. The characters all have their usual animations with several new ones put in, and the transfer from picking what to do to animation to movie sequence is seamless.

Sound FX:
All the voices and sounds from the show are included in Do U. with several new lines and characters to truly make this a Beavis and Butt-head experience. You'll hear their nasty comments and their cheap pick up lines as they try to score with hot college chicks.

Overall:
This is a fun game if you are a big fan of the show, otherwise it can get a little boring after a while because every action causes a short movie sequence which take a minute or so. Overall, it doesn't have too many bad features, and the graphics and sounds make up for any shortcomings, so its a decent game.
